body of work

The dilemma of finding a balance in the dichotomies of hardness and delicacy, aggression and love, tension and release, and a weighty physicality opposed to a spiritual lightness are explored via these images with a keen eye and a steady hand.

The horses and hens of my youth are inextricably caught in the web of personal mythologies and are put to use in the exploration an emotional architecture.

My metal horses are mediums that concepts ride to bring about a force that is timeless and precise ideas, thoughts, conceived in a composition through the illusion of lights reflection on the pigments; that further than symbolism they speak to the subconscious thus creating an emotional dance. Dance as you wish.

A global perspective

The philosophical reflection of my paintings updates to a tranquil love for humanity.

Understanding of its curiosity and quest for immortality; with-out being judgmental of individuals believes; makes us aware that different fruits ripen at different times. Acknowledging this understanding  allows us to receive confort from inventions.

Observing the Evolution of human reasoning enriches  our lives and makes us vigilant for perfection.

Rigidness. Vs the playfulness is unveiled in different ways.  Simplified through by the depiction of the elements, Metal, Water, Fire. Natural/Hand made.

These beings are pure observation and analysis after the manner of our outgoing empirical paradigm: steely, clinical, hard- edged, analytical and rational.

My psychedelic waters are just that: the psyche, now roiled and agitated, now calm and contemplative, now churned and rhythmic and joyously manifesting. It is the personal and universal subconscious alive with will and desire: so potent and so very unpredictable (unmeasurable, untestable, untamable).

We are all a combination of the steel horse and the dancer, doing our best to balance two equally valid but diametrically opposed ways of understanding our world and our experience: intellectually and intuitively, all the while inescapably awash in the unpredictable waters of subconscious emotional impulses.

The nature of these impassioned dancers are in some sense the opposite of the steel horse. They are fully integrated into the feeling and flow and ever-changing rhythms of life rather than clinically observing the rhythms with the rational mind from a safe intellectual distance.

plants, animals, objects, and landscapes with the elegant symbols my psyche requires to convey a singularity.
